Worship Service | Egg Hunt | Inflatables | Art Show | Desserts
What power do words have in human relationship? Is it true that “words can never hurt me?” What would happen if we learned to use words the way God used words?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits.
– Proverbs 18:21
The Bible teaches that Jesus is the “Word of God.” It also teaches that God SPOKE and the universe was created. Many times throughout scripture we are encouraged by the spoken word of God. In this sermon on Easter Sunday, we will learn the power of words to give life. Join us for this encouraging message and community celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.
Read Luke 24:1-12 to see the importance of Jesus’ spoken words.
Directly after the service, there will be an age-staggered Egg Hunt with over 1,000 eggs, prizes, inflatables, an art show, and desserts.
There are four ways to contribute:
- Bring in plastic eggs filled with Candy (Palm Sunday or before, 3/25/18)
- Submit artwork for the Art Show & Gallery (Palm Sunday, 3/25/18)
- Bring finger sized desserts for the dessert buffet (Easter Sunday, 4/1/18)
- Bring a love offering for the Boise Girls Academy Teen Challenge. (Easter Sunday)
