Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November every year. We pause to say Thanks to God for everything he has provided during the previous year.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34
The best way to guard your life from sin is to constantly give thanks to God.
Romans 1:18-31 warns about what happens to a community or individuals who, although they know God, cease to give Him glory or to thank Him. Paul says, that God has handed them over to their sinful desires, to depraved minds, and to all kinds of wickedness.
May we be people characterized by THANKS!
