Our land of healing is secure in Jesus Christ. He fulfills God’s plan to forgive our sins and heal our land.

In this series, we will start 2021 with intercession for Healing, The Church, and Culture. This series will explore what the Bible says about (1) humbling ourselves before God, (2) praying, (3) seeking His face, and (4) turning from wicked ways.

if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

In this message, we learn how to bring healing to the Regions Beyond. The Community of Healing is the global work of God. It is His plan to bring salvation to the world.

The Regions Beyond

We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged, 16 so that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another’s area of influence. 17 “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

We are Formed for the Regions Beyond

Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,and before you were born I consecrated you;I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Healing the Third Way

Then the Pharisees went and plotted how to entangle him in his words. ¹⁶And they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are true and teach the way of God truthfully, and you do not care about anyone’s opinion, for you are not swayed by appearances. ¹⁷Tell us, then, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

¹⁸But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, “Why put me to the test, you hypocrites? ¹⁹Show me the coin for the tax.” And they brought him a denarius. ²⁰And Jesus said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?”

²¹They said, “Caesar’s.”

Then he said to them, “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

²²When they heard it, they marveled. And they left him and went away.

How to Find the Third Way

Navigating Political Conversations (2 Timothy 2:22-26)
Render to Caesar, Render to God (Matthew 22:15-22)
Submit to Those in Authority (Romans 13:1-5; 1 Peter 2:13-16; 1 Cor 2:8; Daniel 6; Matthew 4; Acts 4:19, 5:28; 1 Peter 4:15-16)
Pray for Those in Authority (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, ²for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. ³This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, ⁴who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. ⁵For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, ⁶who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
