Series: Ascend Series

Today @EagleLifeChurch, we start our new year sermon series, “Ascend.”

The biggest thing on everyone’s minds in the new year are new year’s resolutions and the changes we want to make in ourselves. But it is difficult to make this change because of the sin in this world and the sin in ourselves.

Don’t give up hope!
This year, we invite you to ascend above the evil in this world and in ourselves. From psalms 120-134, we will explore the meaning of the psalms of ascent.

From the strong contrasts drawn between the outside world and Jerusalem by the pilgrims ascending to the holy city, we will find hope in our heavenly Father who shields us from evil and destruction.

My Keeper of Peace
