From Trash to Treasure
During this 13-week series through the words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesians, we will discover how our identity is stolen, confused, and lost in a world of distractions and doubt. We will unlock the secrets of how God is restoring our souls.
Please join us as we uncover the ancient truth of recapturing our God given IDENTITY.
When your identity’s been trashed, and your relationships are a mess, turn to the one who makes trash into treasure and a mess into a masterpiece.
Pastor Brad
Made Alive in Christ | Ephesians 2:1-10
1. What we were: Sin at work in us | Ephesians 2:1-3
2. What God did: God at work for us | Ephesians 2:4-9
3. What we have become: Grace at work through us | Ephesians 2:10
Bottom Line:
When sin was at work IN us,
God went to work FOR us,
so that Grace could work THROUGH us.

Time for Celebration
How do you know when it’s time to act or be silent? God’s at work even in the unseen, unnamed parts of our life. We can see this clearly in the lives of Mordecai and Esther. Listen to last Sunday’s teaching to learn more.
Discussion Questions:
- Why do you think the Bible teaches people to include generosity in celebration?
- How can people use Christian celebrations to be reminded of what God has done? Give examples.
- What are some ways that God can use, or has used, “ungodly” leaders to accomplish his purposes?
- How does Esther’s story inspire people to respond in difficult times (eg. facing death, ungodly leaders)
- Pray for our nation & each other’s difficult circumstances.
