Farewell Reception for Pastor Laura Shaffer

Great News

Come bless Pastor Laura Shaffer at a Farewell Reception on her last Sunday at ELC.

Pastor Laura, Associate & Worship Arts, has been elected to be the Lead Pastor at The Way Church in Middleton, Idaho. Her last Sunday with us at ELC is Sunday, December 26. We want to send her off with our blessing and gifts of love. Please bring cards and gifts to tell her, “Thank you” for her many years of ministry in our church family. She needs money for Bible study software upgrades and office decor.

Stick around after service for refreshments and an opportunity to greet her at the farewell reception.

21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

Join us for 21 Days of focused prayer and fasting as we embark in 2022.

Daily prayer reminders will be sent to your inbox for each day you sign up to pray & fast.

We are seeking God in faith for our families, our community, and our church.

January 2-22, 2022

We encourage you to sign up for 1, 3, 7, or all 21 days of prayer and fasting. Usually, fasting relates to food, but you may also want to fast other things that take time in your day and instead, turn that time to prayer. Because 21 days is a long time and requires great discipline and physical health to fast all food for that length of time, we encourage you to consult with your doctor before embarking on such a total fast. Some choose to fast one meal or two instead.

Smore Please Family Fire Pit

Bring your own lawn chair and/or blankets to a fire pit fellowship night. We will provide marshmallows, crackers, and chocolate.

When you’ve had one, you’ll want s’more.

This is a perfect time to mix and mingle with each other and develop deep friendships.

Invite friends, neighbors, and family who need to experience Jesus.

Sundae Community Picnic

We are excited to celebrate Labor Day weekend with you on the lawn at Eagle LifeChurch.

Enjoy inflatable water slides, yard games, family games, food, and Eagle’s BIGGEST ICE CREAM SUNDAE BAR!

Join us for worship service at 10:30am or come for the picnic only. OPEN TO ALL!

12-2:00pm | D&D Smoke BBQ Food Truck
1-1:30pm | Ice Cream Sundae Bar (Bring a favorite topping to share)
12-3:00pm | Water Slides / Inflatables
1-3:00pm | Craft Table
12-3:00pm | Yard Games (Bring one to share. We will provide Volleyball, Washer Toss, Spike Ball, more…)

We will be taking school supply donations for the Boise Rescue Mission and Eagle Schools.
