Week 1 – DAVID: A Man After God’s Own Heart

SERMON 10 September 2023, 10:30 a.m.

Today @EagleLifeChurch, we begin our fall sermon series on the life of King David, “A Man After God’s Own Heart.”

In this series, you will discover what it means to chase God’s heart, and how to cultivate a life of faithfulness even when you blow it, or life entangles you in tragedy, betrayal, lust, and power.

In today’s message, God exposes the empty vanity of human perspective and anoints the one He chooses because of their heart.

Remember to Remember

May 30, 2021 by Brad Murphy

DIGITAL BULLETIN 30 May 2021

Memorial Day 2021

“Ready, Set, Grow! is a new series starting in June and going through Summer. We will study the growth moments in Acts.

In this message, we learn the importance of remembering to remember the sacrifice Jesus made when He gave His life for His friends. In memorial, we remember as often as eat this bread and drink the cup of His suffering.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Remember to Remember

| Mark 8:14-21 | Mark 6:30-44 | Mark 8:1-10 |

14 Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. 15 And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”[b] 16 And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread. 17 And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?”

Breakthrough Power

May 23, 2021 by Brad Murphy

This sermon is part 8 of 8 in the Breakthrough 2021

DIGITAL BULLETIN 23 May 2021

Week 8 Breakthrough

Today is your day for breakthrough.

“Breakthrough” is one of the most powerful words; whatever was strong enough to stop you initially, has been defeated!

Hopelessness, abuse, fear, anxiety, grief, pain… you name it, God offers HIS power to help us breakthrough.

In this message, you will learn how the resurrection of Jesus offers breakthrough power to those who trust and follow him.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
