How to Fellowship with God

SCRIPTURE: Exodus 25:23-30; Leviticus 24:5-9; John 6:1-14; Luke 22:14-20 (ESV)

“You shall take fine flour and bake twelve loaves from it; two tenths of an ephah shall be in each loaf. ⁶ And you shall set them in two piles, six in a pile, on the table of pure gold before the Lord.

“…And you shall put pure frankincense on each pile, that it may go with the bread as a memorial portion as a food offering to the Lord. ⁸ Every Sabbath day Aaron shall arrange it before (pah-nee) the Lord regularly; it is from the people of Israel as a covenant forever. ⁹ And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, since it is for him a most holy portion out of the Lord’s food offerings, a perpetual due.”

How to Enter the House of God

SCRIPTURE: Exodus 30:17-21, 38:8; James 1:23-25; Ephesians 5:25-33; 1 John 1:9; Romans 6:3-5 (1-14); 2 Timothy 2:20-21; 2 Corinthians 4:7; John 13:1-10 (ESV)

The Lord said to Moses, ¹⁸ “You shall also make a basin of bronze, with its stand of bronze, for washing. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it, ¹⁹ with which Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins (bronze altar), and cleans us from all unrighteousness (bronze basin).
