Jesus was also baptized in the Jordan where Joshua crossed.

You can be baptized into the promise of God’s rest by saying Yes to Jesus and following him in water baptism.

This is the “THE PROMISE YOU CAN TRUST.”

Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.

Baptized Into The Promise | Week 4: Joshua

As soon as you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from your place and follow it.

Joshua 3:3 (ESV)

1. Follow God’s Presence | Joshua 3:1-6
2. Into Salvation | Joshua 3:7-13; 2 Kings 2:1-2, 5-15; Matthew 3:13-17
3. All the way back to Adam | Joshua 3:14-17; 1 Kings 7:46

Now the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firmly on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, and all Israel was passing over on dry ground until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan.
