The walls and the city of Jericho have become an archaelogical goldmine for the end of the Bronze Age. The artifacts there have confirmed the biblical account of Joshua 6.

In today’s message, you will learn about how the people of Israel, led by Joshua, marched around Jericho in silence for six days. You will learn how they trusted God with a shout on the seventh day.

Do you have faith to trust God like Israel? Learn how to cultivate a faith that leads to victory.

And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor.

So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.

The west side of the Jordan River became Holy Ground for Joshua and the peopel of Israel.

In today’s message, you will learn about the two religious rituals that God had Joshua perform when the people of Israel entered the Holy Land.

These two religious rituals have spiritual significance for us today.

You will learn how to be circumcised of the heart, and how to celebrate the holy communion.

You can be baptized into the promise of God’s rest by saying Yes to Jesus and following him in water baptism.

‘Take At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the sons of Israel a second time.”

Gilgal means “circle of set up stones.”
Stones were set at Gilgal as a memorial of God’s Faithfulness.

In today’s message, you will learn about the memorials established by Joshua to teach Isreal’s children and the nations about the mighty hand of God.

Jesus also established a memorial at the “Last Supper.” He said, “do this in remembrance of me.”

He also told his disciples to baptize others in water as a sign of God’s salvation

You can be baptized into the promise of God’s rest by saying Yes to Jesus and following him in water baptism.

‘Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’
