When You Think God’s Plan Might Fail

March 10, 2024 by Brad Murphy

This sermon is part 11 of 13 in the Ascend Series

Today @EagleLifeChurch, we continue our new year sermon series, “Ascend.” 🪜🧗🏼

This year, we invite you to ascend above the evil in this world and in ourselves. From psalms 120-134, we will explore the meaning of the psalms of ascent. 📈✝️🚶🏼

Don’t give up hope! 🕊️

🤍🖤 From the strong contrasts drawn between the outside world and Jerusalem by the pilgrims ascending to the holy city, we will find hope in our heavenly Father who shields us from evil and destruction.

Today, through Psalm 132, we learn to overcome doubt and find confidence in God by cultivating our memory and nurturing our hope. 🤷🏼👊🏽

This sermon is part 10 of 13 in the Ascend Series

Today @EagleLifeChurch, we continue our new year sermon series, “Ascend.” 🪜🧗🏼

The biggest thing on everyone’s mind in the new year is new year’s resolutions and the changes we want to make in ourselves. But it is difficult to make this change because of the sin in this world and the sin in ourselves.

Don’t give up hope! 🕊️

This year, we invite you to ascend above the evil in this world and in ourselves. From psalms 120-134, we will explore the meaning of the psalms of ascent.

🤍🖤 From the strong contrasts drawn between the outside world and Jerusalem by the pilgrims ascending to the holy city, we will find hope in our heavenly Father who shields us from evil and destruction.

Today, we will humbly quiet our souls before God to find hope in the Lord from now until forever. 📈✝️🚶🏼
