The FLOAT THE RIVER event is postponed. The River is still above safe recreational levels. We will reschedule when the river is safe.
We are taking an accessible rock-hounding adventure instead. We can look for fossils, petrified wood, and gems. We will drive where all cars can access, and there will be flat land and hills to search on.
You are invited to join on Friday, June 16.
We will meet at 9am, at the Extra Mile ION Cheveron Truck Plaza, 5644 Buntrock Rd, Marsing, ID 83639 (intersection of 95 & 55 outside of Marsing)
Bring a bucket, gloves and something to pry with like a prybar, or even a flat tip screwdriver. If your really motivated bring a pick and shovel!
You might want to bring water and snacks, and lunch. Or you can pick up lunch at the the meet up at 9am.
