In Joshua 10 we learn three keys to experience the PROMISE of God in the fight.
This is the “THE PROMISE YOU CAN TRUST.”
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.

God Fights For You | Week 11: Joshua
At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel,
“Sun, stand still at Gibeon,
and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,
until the nation took vengeance on their enemies.
Is this not written in the Book of Jashar? The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and did not hurry to set for about a whole day.
Joshua 10:12-13
Three faith factors for the fight
- Believe God’s Promise | Joshua 10:8, 25
- Speak to the Lord in Prayer | Joshua 10:12
- Act in Faith and Obedience | Joshua 10:9, 16-42
And Joshua captured all these kings and their land at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.

Respond with Prayer
- Renew knowledge of His Promises
- Declare your faith in the Fight
- Acts according to a divine strategy
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
