“Be Born Again to a Living Hope”

Today @EagleLifeChurch, Pastor Brad continues our Easter to Pentecost series “Living Hope.”

This is week two in the 9-week series. This series focuses on experiencing HOPE in the midst of life’s difficulties and struggles. In our culture, people are subjected to (surrounded by) dying hope. Hope has been replaced with hurt, abuse, trauma, lies, and despair.

During this series, we learn to find our LIVING HOPE in a savior who has struggled and suffered, who has been sabotaged and betrayed, who was beaten and buried, but he claimed the final victory over dying-hope by rising from the grave and inviting us to experience living hope.

In today’s sermon, Pastor Brad helps us understand the nature of evil and suffering and what God is doing to bring it to an end. We learn to have hope to be holy amid an evil generation.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, ⁵who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
